This Christmas broadcast will welcome new young presenters from the Schomberg Society's media youth project 'Fair Fa' Ye To The Future' who will be undertaking an accredited course in Media and Communications and will be assisting the Fusefm Mourne team in both presenting and technical media support. Many of these young media students are excited to meet with renowned presenter Lynda Bryans and get some tips for presenting in the two weeks ahead in the studio!

“We would encourage everyone to tune in daily on 106.2fm or online at from 7am-midnight, and we look forward to welcoming many new and well known faces into the Studio for short interviews, chats and a daily 'Thought For the Day' aired on 106.2fm at 10am."

The radio shows will be comprised of youth shows, easy listening music, folk, country and western, sports, Ulster-Scots musical culture and modern pop as well as featuring a large variety of interviews with local personnel and key community representatives in the Kingdom of Mourne.

The highlight of this Christmas broadcast will be on Saturday, 17 December at 1pm where the famous Country singer Ritchie Remo will be once again performing live in the Lower Square, Kilkeel.

Due to demand, the 'Hit The Diff' star will be joined with other local soloists, groups and acts performing some festive favourites before Santa Clause makes an appearance. This exciting outdoor live event will this year feature a special Christmas lights and illuminations switch-on in the Lower Square and Fusefm Mourne would encourage everyone to come along.

Other highlights during the two week broadcast will include a live Christmas Carol Service from Studio Two in Reivers House on Thursday, 22 December at 7pm. Local choirs, soloists, bands, groups and acts will be performing live and Fusefm Mourne would encourage folk to come along and once again enjoy the singing of Christmas carols and get into the Christmas spirit as Fusefm Mourne counts down the days to Christmas.
