Baird sisters both pick up wins at championships

KILKEEL and District Riding Club were among the 200 competitors from riding clubs across the province who travelled to Portmore Arena, Aghalee, to participate in the Northern Ireland Riding Club Showjumping Championships.
The day got off to a great start with Ruth Baird picking up third place in the Junior Novice, while sister Rachel got her senior career off to a fantastic start by winning the Senior Intermediate class.
Laurie Gibson, Shorlagh Harper, Tierna Harper, Naomi Baird, Conor Cunningham, Adam Haugh, Caroline Chambers, Olaf Kerr, Sarah Graham and Claire Martin also competed on the day.
