ONCE again a Ballyvally archery has won a British title and all within a week.

Just over a week ago Romaine Mehaffey beat all the lady barebows in the UK to win the British Barebow Championships.

Last weekend Andrea Lopez won the junior girl freestyle target championships in Birmingham, beating all the best junior girls in the UK.

She also won the trophy for the highest score in Birmingham and is already the holder of the NI Indoor championships, both the junior and senior and has also won the Irish Indoor championships as well, quite a year.

Meanwhile this weekend, three Ballyvally archers are over in England training with the GB Field team - Romaine Mehaffey, Angela Cowan and Tom Mehaffey, congratulations on their selection.

Northern Ireland Junior indoor championships Last weekend Ballyvally had the honour of hosting the Junior NI Indoor Championships in Banbridge Leisure Centre.

Ballyvally's last event before breaking up for the Christmas holidays will be the club's Christmas shoot - the "Santa Shoot" on Thursday, night 14 December, starting sharp at 7pm.

Members are asked to enter before the night as there is usually a large crowd at this popular shoot.

Ballyvally club restarts on Wednesday, 3 January and Thursday, 4 January 2018 with the usual eight sessions.
