A KILKEEL champion marathon runner is to take on her biggest run yet in memory of her little boy.

Laura Graham is hopng to give back to a vital hospital service that supports grieving parents and will run from her hometown and through the mountains to Daisy Hill Hospital and back again.

Parents Laura and Thomas Graham suffered the heartbreaking stillbirth of their baby boy Luca in February of this year.

With their world turned upside down, the pair were supported by the Willow Bereavement Suite at Daisy Hill.

Founded in 2018, the suite offers a private space for grieving parents and a team of sisters and midwives who are on hand to offer practical and emotional support during a devastating time.

It is still very raw for Laura to recall the loss of her baby, but one thing that has been of some comfort to her is the ongoing support from the Willow Suite team.
