The final of this year's Hilltown Pool League took place on Friday night (8 March) in Greenans 'The Square' Bar and Lounge with The Depot going head to head with Corner House.

In a pulsating final the match swung one way, then another as both teams battled for the title.

Ten frames were played and the teams could not be separated ending in a 5-5 scoreline. And so it went to a three man playoff.

Tony won the first playoff game to give The Depot the advantage but Decky held firm to level the match.

So it was down to a final frame decider and it was Paul who kept his nerve to overcome a strong challenge from Aidan to win frame and match for The Depot and see them crowned League Champions for 2019.
