Former UDR man from Mayobridge remembered on 50th anniversary of his murder

FORMER comrades of an ex UDR man from outside Mayobridge who was murdered leaving a bar have paid a special tribute to him on the 50th anniversary of his killing.

Members of the Rathfriland Branch of the UDR Association visited his grave last week to leave a floral tribute to mark the anniversary of the shooting of Isaac Scott.

From the Benagh Road, Mayobridge, Isaac was 41 years old when he was murdered by the IRA on 9 July, 1973 in Belleek near Newtownhamilton.
